American composer, Leanna Kirchoff, writes vocal and instrumental chamber music, choral music, and opera.  Her chamber operas, THE CLEVER ARTIFICE OF HARRIET AND MARGARET and SCRAPBOOKERS have been performed at numerous venues across the US.  Her latest opera projects, FRIDAY AFTER FRIDAY and a new work for Opera Steamboat are supported with grants from OPERA America.  Kirchoff’s work is profiled in the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2019 publication, So You Want to Sing Music by Women.  She holds a doctorate degree from the University of Colorado and teaches at the University of Denver.
